Why doesn't the wireless charger work with my Samsung phones I also tried using it with my moto phones and it did not work as well..does it have to be charged itself before it can be used as a wireless charger or does it have to be plugged into a wall adapter only..will it not work if plugged into a car USB port or a laptop USB port? I couldn't get mine to work and I'm wondering if it is the product or did I miss a step of the instructions somewhere

You must confirm if the phone has built in Qi wireless charging enabled with the manufacturer of the phones. See below for list of phones from samsung that have built in wireless charging capability.
Wireless Charging is supported on Galaxy S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, Z Flip, Note10, Note10+, Fold, S10e, S10, S10+, Note9, S9, S9+, Note8, S8, S8+, S7, S7 edge, Note5, S6 edge+, S6 edge, and S6.

Can I charge a iPhone 5 with a 10 watt Qi wireless charging pad?
Hello and thank you for contacting Just Wireless. Please note the iPhone 5 does not have the capability for wireless charging. Only iPhone's 8 and above have built in capabilty to do wireless charging.

Thank you for contacting Just Wireless. No you cannot charge the iPhone 7 with Qi Wireless charging pads because the iPhone 7 does not have the capability to charge wirelessly.

I bought this charger at Target in York PA for a friend that was in the hospital. It stopped working for him while he was in the hospital. He went in October 30th 2020. This charger is not old and i shouldn't of had to go buy another charger. I'm very upset and I know its only $ 14.99. It should still be working.
